I think that the second-to-last paragraph sums up your needs pretty well--bearing in mind, of course, that you know you best. Take the time you need. If you're not ready to date again, that's fine.<br /><br />I was with a guy for two years and we broke up. It took me almost double that to end the mourning process. I dated during that time, but I wasn't interested in anything serious. Mostly, I just needed to find something to take up my spare time, and for me, dating helped. It may not be the same for you. Just remember--you know your own feelings the best. If you need more time, take it. If you need to talk to your friends, do so. I doubt they're bothered by it. They are, after all, your friends for a reason. Love is powerful; seek out those who love you most when you need them.K. A.
